Let me talk about feet!!
Many years ago, my friend H was a runner. Sometimes I would join her on a run around Kennesaw Mountain and when we would get ready together, I noticed that she always put vaseline on her feet before we took off. I asked her why and she said she did it to lubricate her feet to cut down on the friction that causes blisters. My friend J uses Aquaphor. I do not put anything on before a run (though the more I read about the benefits, I should) but after a run there is nothing more healing than Raw African Shea Butter and a pair of chenille socks (and my Lucygirl).
I find this speeds up the healing process for my sore feet and when I wake up the next day my feet feel refreshed. Alot can be said about happy feet and iced knees when you are a middle-aged runner wannabe.
